OMFG!

Please ask/ give permission if you're going to post these photos else where.

I will be the first to admit that I had a lot of doubts about the McBusted tour.
At first I loved the idea, but then I started adding about a million extra dates. And I started to wonder what the tour would be like. But honestly, last night was one of the best nights of my life.

If you read this post, you'd know that 10 year old was obsessed with both Busted and McFly.  I was a bit to young to see Busted live 10 years ago, but being in my favourite city, seeing my two favourite bands live with my best friend of 16 years, yeah, you could say this was about as close to perfect as it could get.

I won't post any spoilers as I know there's still lots of people waiting for their dates to arrive, but I swear to god it was incredible.

It makes me so happy seeing them in this amazing place. Mcfly have so much energy performing and this McBusted thing just kind of makes sense right now.

I know I'm not the only in Mcfly's fan base to have doubts about this tour, but believe it is something that's really special.
I definitely don't think it will be a permanent thing (and I'm glad about that) but honestly, when it's gone I'll probably miss it a ton. So right now I'm going to carry on being happy for them.

Also, Dougie looked extra perfect last night. (See top pic)
Much Love.

Coachella | My Fashion Favs

Festival season has well and truly kicked off with the 2 weekend long, celebrity infused Coachella!
The music festival in Indio, California, is known for having incredible line up's year after year. But it's also as much about the music as it is about the fashion.

Now living in England, our festivals are a little different. For us Brits, festival season includes animal onesies, wellies and a lot of rain and mud. And by a lot, I mean A LOT.
But I think that's way Coachella's interested me for years. Like I said in last years post, Coachella releases the inner hippy in every one.
I like to keep with festival fashion, art and music as it tends to fill me up with inspiration (and have serious envy of anyone who lives in California)

This year I thought it would be a fun idea to show you all a few of my favourite outfits over the past 2 weekends.
I've obviously narrowed it down to just a few -there's always so many that I love!

What's your favourite festival fashion?

Review | The Vamps- Meet The Vamps

When a band with as much talent and charisma as The Vamps have pops up, it's an extremely rare thing.
I discovered them about a year ago, and then saw them live twice during Mcfly's Memory Lane tour in May. And it didn't take me long to realise they were going to be the biggest thing since sliced bread (read all about my obsession with them in previous posts here)

Their debut album has just been released here in the UK, and those cheeky lads off YouTube have definitely delivered the goods. The album's bloody perfect.

These 4 guys are incredibly talented for such a young age -with Connor being the youngest at 17 and eldest James just 19- and have such an amazing stage presence. They've already toured with the likes of Taylor Swift, The Wanted and, as above, McFly.

Over the past 6 months, they've released their first 3 singles -"Can We Dance", "Wild Heart" and "Last night"- and they pretty much set the tone for the rest of the album.
Their music is infectiously happy and quirky. With added folky-ness.
The whole album is pretty much summer soundtrack PERFECTION.
I already see myself sunbathing down the beach listening to "High Hopes" and "Lovestruck".
"Somebody To You" (which my personal fav) is going to be a big one during shows with its huge chanty 'YEAH YOU'. And don't surprised if songs like "Smile" gets your parents singing along.

It's easy to think their "the new Mcfly" and I can see why. But these 4 boys have taken what Busted and Mcfly created before them and decided to put their own spin on it all.
In all, The Vamps are an incredibly unique band who have created an album full of hits. I can't wait to see what the future holds for them.

Personal Favourites: "Dangerous", "Lovestruck", "Smile", "Somebody To You"
For Fans Of: 5 Seconds of Summer, Mcfly, R5 & One Direction.

Redheaded Wednesday.

Dress; Asos

Whilst browsing through Asos the other day (ha, I do that most days) I came across this simple velvet black dress with an adorable lace collar.
I looked at it and said "I bet if I wore that I'd feel like Wednesday Addams." And so I brought it. It arrived Friday afternoon and I instantly put it on.

And I was right -I felt like Wednesday Addams.
And that's how this dress became the single greatest purchase I've ever made.

"I'll stop wearing black when they make a darker colour"
